The Shrooms, including Jim Jordan, Keith Swanson, Bob Jones, Scott Keller and Greg Pichler, performed live at the Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity House at 227 Warren Square, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on the night of Saturday, November 21, 1981. The Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity House was at the time an off campus, brothership association. The group performed thirteen songs over the course of the evening. The group recorded the live performance onto cassette tape.

The band opened with one of Pichler' original songs, The Calamity, or affectionately referred to as Who Took The Viles, to an audience of approximately one hundred and twenty people in attendance.

The performance at the fraternity house was in the contemporaneous words of percussionist, Jim Jordan, class of 1982 alumni, "an assault of the senses". The group's rendition of Pichler's medley of original songs, Twenty-One Years // Ode to Afghanistan, was disappointingly ruckus.

The group's more respectable renditions include Peace Frog, Blue Sunday (The Doors), Head Over Heels, Light Up Or Leave Me Alone (Capaldi, Traffic), Brown Sugar (Keith Richards), Switch Me On (Huw Roberts). In fact Roberts, who no longer attended Lehigh University in the Fall semester of 1981, attended the event to perform as the lead guitarist on his original song, Switch Me On, as well as guitar on the Keith Richards' song, Brown Sugar.

Although Scott Keller was the group's lead vocalist, Pichler assumed the lead vocal duties on one of the songs he originally composed, namely Hey Lis'.

Lisa Crozzoli Snow; circa 1981.
