Greg Pichler of the Progressive Shamanists originally composed the song, By Any Which Way You Can, on Sunday, January 22, 2023, while casually following the football contest between the Cincinnati Beagals and the Buffalo Bills in a pelting snow storm. The Cincinnati Bengals prevailed in that contest 27 - 10.

What the song is about

The song, By Any Which Way You Can, is about a distressed woman, who suffers from schizophrenia, and the man she is indefinitely separated from while being treated at the psychiatric ward of a hospital.
